Family Sponsorship Opportunity

Are you looking for an opportunity to make a tangible impact in someone’s life? We currently have 2 Korah families who need to be matched with a new sponsor. Family sponsorship is a unique opportunity to help keep families together and thriving by providing them with participation in community and Self-Help groups, medical support, education and income generation training, and provision of other basic needs. FATUMA'S FAMILY

FATUMA HAS BEEN SPONSORED!!

Fatuma is currently raising her three precious children as a single mother. Prior to sponsorship, Fatuma had received no formal educational training, but did have some skills in weaving and basket making. She worked as a laborer for next to nothing, and was forced to beg in order to provide food for her family to eat once or twice per day. Though she and her children had several medical issues,
they had previously not been able to afford medical treatment which they now have access to through sponsorship. Your partnership with this family can help provide the resources and hope they need to break out of the cycle of poverty and into empowerment! We are looking for a full monthly sponsorship for Fatuma.

SHASHE'S FAMILY 



SHASHE HAS JUST BEEN SPONSORED!! 

Shashe and her family came into the program under quite desperate circumstances. They had just survived the Korah fire which destroyed the homes of many families who were already living in destitute conditions on the perimeter of the trash dump. Fortunate to survive, Shashe’s husband broke down the door to rescue Shashe and their two kids from the flames engulfing their home. Shashe’s husband Workeneh and their daughter were treated in hospital for severe burns. Since this traumatic incident, their family has made tremendous strides forward and has had the opportunity to begin rebuilding their lives. We are currently looking for a sponsor to help cover a partial monthly family sponsorship.
