What began as an outcast leper community eighty years ago has now grown into Korah, an urban slum with an estimated 130 000 people situated near the city garbage dump in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The community is consumed with poverty, where families are broken apart through desperation, illness, and death. OUR MISSION STATEMENT: "Loosening the yoke of extreme poverty in Korah, Ethiopia and bringing hope to those who live there." Isaiah 58:6-7 KEEPING FAMILIES HEALTHY & TOGETHER!

BYUSH and her family NEED A NEW SPONSOR! Can you help?
Byush and her family live in a small one room hut. Their life is hard and they are in need of a new sponsor so they can remain in the family sponsorship program. A few years ago, her husband broke his back in a construction accident and witnessed a haunting tragedy in their own home. They have two children ages 8 and 2. Byush has been part of the Hope for Korah income generation project learning skills such as weaving and sewing. She hopes that she can one day support her family.
